Kitch’N Kids Wins “Best Overall Mixed Media Campaign”

The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) announced the winners of the 2008 Achieving Excellence Awards at its SmartMarketing Conference in New Orleans, La. The annual awards honor the dairy industry’s top marketing, public relations and advertising efforts. Our 2007 Kitch’N Kids sales promotion campaign designed to promote the importance of dairy and increase sales of dairy products for participating brands and store partners won for “Best Overall Mixed Media Campaign”. The National Aids Fund brand “went live” just in time for the “Light to Unite” World Aids Day campaign to shine a light of hope on the HIV/Aids epidemic in the United States. HGX Creative Appointed Agency of Record for Nicaraguan Non-Profit, La Chureca

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ft Lauderdale, FL – November 2006 – East coast marketing and promotions company HGX Creative has been selected by La Ciudad del Nino La Chureca (The City of the Children of the Garbage; www.lachureca.org) as their agency of record. Under the agreement, HGX will provide Pro Bono marketing services, including professional collateral and web design, strategic consulting, publicity support and other services as needed to assist with the completion, continuation and promotion of the community center being built in Managua, Nicaragua.

La Chureca’s project manager, Guillermo Castillo, selected the Ft. Lauderdale marketing and communications company for its U.S. location as well as its award-winning design and marketing expertise and ongoing support of the aid missions to Nicaragua’s most poverty-stricken children. “Once I’d seen the plight of these kids I couldn’t come home to my ‘lucky life’ in the U.S. and do nothing,” says Debbie Nierman, founder and CEO of HGX Creative. “I will definitely be returning to help, but in the meantime I’m honored to have the trust of this mission to publicize their efforts and help raise funds that will not just improve lives but save them.”
